Faces of Industrial Research is a one day symposium connecting scientists from academia and industry.
This symposium will take place on the
3rd March at in Forum Rolex at EPFL Lausanne. 

Scientists, PhDs and postdocs currently employed by Nestlé, Novartis, Roche and Vifor as well as local start-ups will showcase their scientific projects.

Moreover, senior scientists will present their career paths, emphasising how they transitioned from academia to industry, before sharing more insights on their research topics.

Morning talks will be followed by an offered networking lunch, giving an overview of projects performed by master’s, PhDs and postdocs in companies or benefiting from industrial funding.
In the afternoon, there will be two talk sessions with an intermediate coffee break, which provides an additional networking opportunity. The event will end with concluding remarks after the last talk.
